Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Gets PS4, Switch, and Mobile Release Date With New Trailer
Square Enix announced that the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered will launch on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and iOS/Android devices on January 23, 2020.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered is a remastered version of the Nintendo Gameplay Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, released in 2004. The title will add improvements to the game’s visuals and mechanics. One of which is the addition of online multiplayer that will support up to four players, in this mode, players will be able to take control of a character and roam free around the battlefield to take actions and assist the other players. Additionally, this mode will allow crossplay between platforms and will feature an optional cross-save functionality.
Other additions to this version of the game include new post-game content such as tougher bosses and new dungeons along with new skins for each of the characters. Players will be able to also enjoy new character audio as well as new theme songs.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered tells the story of a world ruled by four races. Players will join a caravan where members of the four races join to assist a mission to save the world. This group will need to collect fragments of a Great Crystal to ward off the Miasma of a poison that has plagued the world for 1000 years. However, some events led to issues with the mission and a bigger adventure expands from it.
