Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Receives Update With Rain and Fina New Vision Units and More

Square Enix has launched a new update for their mobile RPG Final Fantasy Brave Exvius to celebrate the new year.

Starting today, players can summon the new Rain & Fina Neo Vision units. Further, Rain & Fina can perform a new type of ability called a Tag-Team Attack, which allows the unit to create an attack chain with itself. This “self-chaining” is significant, as previously chaining required at least two units to complete. “Rain & Fina” is the first “self-chaining” unit, with more to come.

Additionally, players can attempt to summon the unit Fina & Dark Fina, which is Neo Vision Awekenable. Both units have an increased rate of appearing through a limited-time Feature Summon.

Also, all existing players with accounts created before January 21, and new players who join after January 21, will receive a special ticket which they can use to summon one of the five selected Neo Vision Units. Players can have a chance to summon between Neo Vision units such as Cloud (FFVII Remake), Rain -Neo Vision-, and Firion -Neo Vision-.

For the New Year, inactive players who log in between January 21 and February 17 can obtain Comeback 10+1 Summon Tickets (3-star/4-star/5-stare/NV) through a limited-time login bonus.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius launched its global version in 2016. This turn-based RPG is set in a world that revolves around Magic Crystals. Players assume the role of Rain on a quest with his friend Lasswell, which leads them to meet a girl named Fina, who is trapped in a crystal. The crystals of the world are then attacked by a Dark Knight known as Veritas. The group sets out to defeat the dark army and save the world.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is a free-to-play RPG available now for iOS and Android devices.
