Square Enix has revealed two new global units for their mobile RPG Final Fantasy Brave Exvius coming in September during the Neo Vision update.
The two original units are Starlight Elena and Yoshikiri. Starlight Elena’s description reads, “Our Crystals shall vanquish the darkness and bring back the light to this world. Join me, awakened warrior.” and Yoshikiri’s reads, “Haven’t had a job this big since the war. Might just be up for it. I shall fulfill my duties to you above all else, master!”
The publisher released a new trailer that shows both characters and their special move.
Additionally, a roadmap was revealed for future updates:
- 2020 Summer – Arena ranking reward revamp
- 2020 Fall – New Story Events will be released more regularly. Also, the ability awakening, latent ability awakening will resume in November.
- 2021 Spring – Unit design contest units will arrive
- Future – Update to Dragon Quest and Kingdom Hearts Characters. Also, the main character from the 3rd Season will join.
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius launched its global version in 2016. This turn-based RPG is set in a world that revolves around Magic Crystals. Players assume the role of Rain on a quest with his friend Lasswell, which leads them to meet a girl named Fina, who is trapped in a crystal. The crystals of the world are then attacked by a Dark Knight known as Veritas. The group sets out to defeat the dark army and save the world.
