Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Launches Octopath Traveler Collaboration
Square Enix has launched a collaboration between their mobile RPG Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and their adventure RPG Octopath Traveler.
Beginning on August 23 through September 5, players will be able to summon characters from Octopath Traveler, including, Primrose, Olberic, Therion and Tressa. Additionally, a new raid will become available for a limited time to earn special rewards. The raid will have players defeat Gaston and Brigands, but there is also a new trial boss on August 30 where players can challenge the Blotted Viper for even more rewards.
Each character from Octopath Traveler has been reimagined in pixelated form, even though they were technically pixelated before, but with a more modern look…who care. Regardless, each character will feature attacks and skills that they are known for and become a nice addition to the party. However, it’s not mentioned if the other characters will become available.
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is a free-to-play RPG available now for iOS and Android devices. The game features monsters and characters from across the Final Fantasy series including some original characters and a unique story. The game uses the gacha mechanics so players can try and get powerful characters that they want.
