Square Enix has opened pre-orders for the Final Fantasy Series Mini Melody TV, a collection of miniature CRT television-style toys based on Final Fantasy I through VI. The lineup will be released in Japan on January 29, 2027.
Each Mini Melody TV features pixel art from one of the first six Final Fantasy games. Flipping its switch activates an LED-lit display alongside a melody associated with the corresponding entry.
The six designs pair each game with a specific track: Final Fantasy features “Opening Theme,” Final Fantasy II uses “The Rebel Army,” Final Fantasy III features “Eternal Wind,” Final Fantasy IV uses “The Red Wings,” Final Fantasy V features “Battle at the Big Bridge,” and Final Fantasy VI uses “Searching for Friends.”
Individual Mini Melody TVs are priced at ¥1,980. Each is sold as a blind box containing one of the six designs, meaning buyers cannot select a specific Final Fantasy entry.
They are also selling six-unit boxes for ¥11,880. However, buying a full box does not guarantee you will receive all six designs. Further, each unit requires one AAA alkaline battery, which is sold separately.
