The official Japanese Twitter account of Square Enix’s official merchandise announced a brand-new piece of merch called the SQEX MASTERLINE FFVI. This is a 1/6 scale of the Magitek Armor as it is seen in Final Fantasy VI, and it can be yours for the “low low price” of…wait for it…1,485,000 Japanese Yen, or as of the time of this writing, US$ 11,549.68.
Unbelievable. 11 grand and a half for a STATUE! This certainly makes the Life-Sized Bust of Demi-fiend we reported a few months back look like a complete bargain in comparison. The statue is also limited to 600 units worldwide and is set to release on July 28th, 2023. It also comes with interchangeable parts, so you can change it up however you like.
Final Fantasy VI launched on SNES in 1994 and has since received numerous ports. In this adventure, players find themselves on an experience that follows The War of the Magi. A thousand years after those events, humanity has been rebuilt, and a character named Terra appears with mysterious powers. She meets Locke on a mission that helps her escape the Empire.
