The official website for the upcoming Omega Force-developed action JRPG Fate/Samurai Remnant has various English profiles detailing many characters’ traits while also sharing key quotes and, in most cases, their voice actors.
We have compiled each Master and Servant render and profile in pairs below, but there are exceptions. Archer, the Servant of Zheng Chenggong, Assassin, the Servant of Dorothea Coyett, and Caster do not have their renders or profiles on the website. Additionally, the Master of Caster has a render, yet no profile.
The bottom of this article also has two more profiles for supporters of the protagonist, Iori.

Miyamoto Iori, voiced by Kengo Kawanishi – “A lot of people in Edo could die. It is evil and must not be allowed. ”
Adopted son and disciple of the great swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. He is a ronin living in Asakusa, Edo, who studied the Niten Ichiryu style of swordsmanship, but Musashi passed away before he could teach him the secrets of the art. Still seeking to master the Way of the sword, he spends his days training while making ends meet.
Saber, voiced by Hibiku Yamamura – “You’re weak. Have you no abilities besides the sword?”
A Servant of the Saber class who is dressed in an old-fashioned style and wields a wavy sword. Saber suddenly appeared in front of Iori and saved him from a crisis. Claiming that Iori is weak, this proud Heroic Spirit intends to fight the Waxing Moon Ritual alone. Saber seems to be interested in the peaceful streets of Edo.
Zheng Chenggong, voiced by Tomoaki Maeno – “The cruel who lack compassion are not human. I do not want the innocent to die.”
A dashing and vivacious warrior with a heroic appearance. He is a general, also known as “Koxinga,” who is highly respected by the Longwu Emperor of the Southern Ming Dynasty. He is the son of a Ming merchant and a Japanese mother.
Archer – CV / Kensho Ono – “…If anyone, perhaps I can entrust my dying wish to you.” A Servant of the Archer class who is loyal, courageous, and fierce. He shows respect to his Master Zheng Chenggong and freely maneuvers his bow and arrow to help him in his battles.
Chiemon, voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto – “I will take everything, burn everything! All of it, with my own two hands…!”
A mysterious man with many layers of cloth wrapped around his face. He is a survivor of the great rebellion that once took place in Shimabara, Amakusa, that shook the peaceful era. He appears in Edo alone, with nothing in his possession.
Lancer, voiced by Maaya Sakamoto – “…Ashes to ashes and dust to dust. All things───shall be consumed by the flames.”
A Servant of the Lancer class. She wields two spears and black flames, making dark flowers bloom on the battlefield. There seems to be a reason for her constant gloomy appearance…
Yui Shousetsu, voiced by Mutsumi Tamura – “Killing an aspirant who is unaware that they are a Master runs counter to my code.”
An ardent fighter and a military scholar admired by many ronin. Shousetsu runs a military academy in Edo and decides to serve the shogunate before the Waxing Moon Ritual, though not without some reservations.
Rider, unstated VA – “With all due respect, killing them in their ignorance would be a mercy.”
A Servant of the Rider class. Clad in black armor, this fearsome warrior wields an elongated sword without hesitation, ruthlessly slaughtering any enemies.
Dorothea Coyett, voiced by Aya Hirano – “You still don’t understand what we mages aspire to, I see.”
A young woman from another country who came to Japan aboard a galleon. She is the daughter of a Swedish nobleman, Fredrik Coyett, and is a mage who belongs to the Clock Tower, the prestigious scholarly institution on magecraft.
Assassin – CV / Hideo Ishikawa – “A warrior kills — it’s our nature. Some goals cannot be reached without accepting that.” A Servant of the Assassin class. He is a phantom in gray with long arms and legs that flex like whips. He is said to be able to summon and manipulate many serpents as his subordinates.
Takao Dayu, voiced by Ami Koshimizu – “Yoshiwara women are strong. We don’t lose heart when someone disappears or dies.”
A courtesan at Miura-ya, a brothel in Yoshiwara. She is said to be one of the most beautiful women in Edo and attracts many men including feudal lords. “Dayu” is the highest rank of courtesan, and she is one of the three most popular Dayu.
Berserker, voiced by Ayane Sakura – “Which Edo is this? My Spirit Origin this time isn’t the one I’m used to, but I do still have my swords!”
A Servant of the Berserker class. Her True Name is Miyamoto Musashi. She is an unrivaled swordswoman and the founder of the Niten Ichiryu style of swordsmanship. Though she shares the same identity as Miyamoto Iori’s teacher, her appearance seems to be slightly, or perhaps quite, different from that of the person Iori knew.
Tsuchimikado Yasuhiro, voiced by Satoshi Mikami – “Such things do happen.
The Waxing Moon Ritual is still under experimentation, after all.”
A descendant of Abe-no-Seimei and the head of the Tsuchimikado family, the onmyouji lineage. He is said to be the Observer who hosts the Waxing Moon Ritual.
Caster, voiced by Anri Katsu – “…Do as you wish. I shall do the same.”
A Servant of the Caster class. He seems to be involved in some dark activities behind the Waxing Moon Ritual, but no further information about his purpose or true identity is known.

Ogasawara Kaya, voiced by Misaki Kuno – “There’s a battle going on! Which means I’m gonna help!”
Miyamoto Iori’s foster sister. After the death of her foster father, Miyamoto Musashi, she was adopted by the Ogasawara family. She is worried about her brother who tends to be reckless, and she goes to Asakusa frequently to take care of him.
Crimson Codex, voiced by Cha Furin – “The bonds you make are to be cherished. …Including the one with me!”
A Western spell book and an heirloom of Miyamoto Musashi. He has a will of his own, floats in the air, and speaks like human. He is Iori’s magecraft teacher and self-proclaimed substitute for Musashi after his death.

Rogue Rider (Tamamo Aria) – CV / Chiwa Saito – “Let’s do lots of fun things together and learn all about each other!”A Rogue Servant of the Rider class.Her True Name is Tamamo Aria.She captivates men with her dainty appearance and somewhat frivolous speech and behavior. Instead of riding on something, riding on someone seems to be her preferred form of transportation.
Rogue Archer (Arjuna)- CV / Nobunaga Shimazaki – “Show me how deeply that blade thirsts for blood!” A Rogue Servant of the Archer class. His True Name is Arjuna. He is a fighter clad in a white robe who wields a bow covered with blue flames. He is pure, always respectful, and behaves in a fair and honest manner.
Rogue Berserker –
CV / Daisuke Endou – “ ――――――!!!”
A Rogue Servant of the Berserker class. He is a long-haired fighter who boasts a muscular body. Being summoned as a Berserker, he has lost all sense of rationality. For whatever reason, he accompanies Takao Dayu.
Rogue Lancer (Cú Chulainn) – CV / Nobutoshi Canna – “Who am I? Good question. I guess I’m the watchdog of this place.”A Rogue Servant of the Lancer class.His True Name is Cú Chulainn.He handles a crimson spear, which is longer than he is, as if it were a part of himself. He has a belligerent personality and seeks out challenging battles.
Rogue Saber – CV / Toru Sakurai – “The Evil Ogre draws in the darkness. And it falls to me to drive that darkness away!” A Rogue Servant of the Saber class. He is an armored warrior who rides a gray horse and wields a large sword. He is in pursuit of an enemy called the Evil Ogre, whom he seeks to destroy.
Rogue Caster (Circe), voiced by Himika Akaneya – “Sorry to keep you waiting, my piglets-to-be!
Were you lonely without your owner? I bet you were!”
A Rogue Servant of the Caster class.
She is a mischievous witch with wings like a hawk.
With her magical talents, she plays tricks on those who oppose her.
Rogue Assassin (Li Shuwen), voiced by Kunihiko Yasui – “A warrior kills — it’s our nature.
Some goals cannot be reached without accepting that.”
A Rogue Servant of the Assassin class.
He is a sharp-eyed old man wearing an unfamiliar garb.
He is a kung-fu fighter who fights only with his fists, but his fighting style has not been found in any past records.

This game developed by Omega Force will depict a Grail War held in the Keian Era, Edo Period Japan, where participants comprising seven pairs of Masters and summoned Servants of figures from historical and mythological importance. A “Waxing Moon Ritual” is also being held in the city’s underbelly. Protagonist Miyamoto Iori, residing in Asaka, fights in this Grail War with his Servant Saber to achieve the “Waxing Moon Vessel.”
Miyamoto utilizes the Niten Ichiryu style of swordsmanship. In battle, players can direct Servants to perform certain maneuvers or take control of them directly. Further, players can explore Edo, made up of row houses, samurai residences, and brothels where NPC and animal interaction are possible. Moreover, there are unspecified challenges players can anticipate.
Fate /Samurai Remnant will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on September 29, 2023.
