Fate/Grand Order’s Camelot Chapter Receives Trailer for Animated Adaptation

Aniplex USA have released an English trailer promoting the upcoming film adaptation of Fate/Grand Order‘s Camelot chapter. With the incineration of human history at stake, protagonists Ritsuka Fujimaru and Mash Kyrielight are sent to various parts of history that have been grievously changed in order to set them right. These two are totally unseen however in the following teaser trailer, as it chooses to focus King Arthur’s loyal knight, Bedivere, walking through the desert towards the holy city of Camelot.

Now anyone who knows a lick of history is going to know something is up with that. After all, England is nowhere near the desert. It’ll make sense though, this is Fate after all

You can find the trailer below.

The adaptation will be in two parts, both animated by Production I.G. Part 1, Wandering; Agateram, will be released sometime 2020 and is being directed by Kei Suezawa. This is the second film they’ve been in charge of, after their debut with FLCL Progressive which released in Japan during September 2018.

In case you missed it, there is currently a Summer Event going on that takes the form of a race. Along with strong characters to acquire, these characters are in their bathing suits so I guess that means summer is in full effect.

Fate/Grand Order is available now on mobile devices for both Android and iOS.
