Fate/Grand Order VR Gets Western Release Slated for 2019

Aniplex announced that their VR experience Fate/Grand Order VR Featuring Mash Kyrielight will launch on PlayStation VR in the west in 2019.

Fate/Grand Order VR puts players in the role of a Master within the game’s universe. Throughout the experience, players will train with Mash and interact with her in order to increase your bond level. There are several different events, but they usually border on suggestive scenes to just plain comedic situations.

Fate/Grand Order VR will also have “Another Story” featuring Altria Pendragon experience which allows players to hang out with the Saber class character but in a different setting.

Both experiences feature English and Japanese voiceover with an English subtitle option and will be exclusive to the PlayStation VR system.

You can watch the gameplay trailer below showing moments during the experience that players will encounter during the story:

Author’s take: This experience is short but sweet, I’ve played it before so it’s good to see that the game is finally getting a release, even after all the issues with bringing Japanese games to the west. I wonder if the game will have to go through any changes to allow the game to be published outside of Japan. There isn’t a ton of questionable scenes, but they are there.
