The closure of Fate/Grand Order‘s ‘Epic of Remnant’ chapters begins the release of the new story arc, and there is a myriad of content to check out.
We begin with trailer 1. This trailer, narrated by the main villain of the first arc ‘Grand Order,’ showcases a collection of locations and characters without much context as to who or what they are.
This is because it ties directly into the new prelude chapters available in the game. These chapters require you to have beaten the ‘Grand Order’ content and are necessary to watch before you can access the ‘Cosmos in the Lostbelt.’ The first of these chapters will be released sometime this spring.
The second piece is the animated short Fate/Grand Order -Moonlight/Lostroom-, available currently on Crunchyroll, this takes place between the Christmas 2019 event and the Lostbelt Prologue and contains essential backstory. It is now only available to paid users but will become free for everyone on the 7th of January.
Yes. The Christmas event is canon. Don’t question it; it’s not essential.
Finally, we have the opening animation for the ‘Cosmos in the Lostbelt’ story arc, which you can watch below. It features the characters from the original trailer as well as some of the servants who will show up in the Lostbelts.
(Yes, isn’t an official upload but just roll with it.)
