Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse Shares 8-Minutes of Gameplay With Developer Commentary

Koei Tecmo shared additional gameplay with developer commentary for Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on March 9, 2023.

The trailer is hosted by the director of the original Fatal Frame Makoto Shibata. The gameplay highlights many of the in-game systems while Ruka navigates the Rogetsu Hall stage in the upcoming remastered release. Further, we get to see how the characters use the Camera Obscura to fight back spirits.

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse takes place on a remote island in southern Japan. Ten years after five young girls disappeared during an island festival, three girls travel back to the island to figure out what really happened. Their goal is to solve their friends’ death, but they end up figuring out so much more.

A special Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse Digital Deluxe Edition will be available digitally. This unique edition of the game includes the Rogetsu Isle Dinner Party Costume Set and a digital art book (original soundtrack included).
