Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water Reveal the Bathings Suits We’ve All Been Waiting For

Koei Tecmo has shared a few screenshots of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water on their Facebook page. As we previously mentioned, the new version will have new costumes, including swimsuits. The horror game was originally available only on Wii U, and it’ll now be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 28, 2021.

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water has players assuming the role of Yuri Kozukata, Ren Hojo, and Miu Hinasaki. The trio is investigating Mt. Hikami to find someone who went missing. However the place is haunted and overcoming its spirits will demand them to use the traditional Camera Obscura, which has the power to damage ghosts by taking their photos.

As players go through the areas and face these spectral dangers, they’ll be able to obtain Spirit Fragments. Those will allow them to unlock upgrades for the Camera Obscura with a more resilient lens or film that causes more damage.

The new version of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water will include new costumes and some of those were shown in the new screenshots. They show, respectively: Yuri’s Swimsuit (Blue), Miu’s Swimsuit (Yellow), Miu’s Swimsuit (Pink), Ren’s Groom’s Outfit, and Miu’s Miku Hinasaki (Fatal Frame III: The Tormented) outfit. An illustration of Yuri’s Ryza costume was also shared.

Keep in mind the Miku Hanasaki costume is part of the Digital Deluxe version, along with five other costumes based on previous Fatal Frame characters. The Ryza one will be available for free for those who pre-order or purchase the game within the first two weeks after release.
