Koei Tecmo has announced that the Silent Hill f collaboration for Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake is now live across all platforms for free.
The title now features Shimizu Hinako’s Navy Sailor School Uniform and Fox Mask. The Navy Sailor School Uniform can be worn by Mio, and the Fox Mask accessory can be worn by both Mio and Mayu.
The story follows twin sisters Mio and Mayu Amakura, who end up in a lost village haunted by restless spirits and tied to a forbidden ritual. Separated from her sister, Mio must search for Mayu while relying on the Camera Obscura.
The remake features an overhaul of visuals and audio, modernized controls, and refinements to the core gameplay. Exploration and combat are being redesigned, with the Camera Obscura receiving upgrades. Plus, the sisters can now hold hands, enabling greater investment in their relationship.
Fatal Frame II was also previously remade for the Wii in 2012, but that version never made it to North America.
Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake is available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam for $49.99.
