Eastasiasoft announced that they will publish the NG:DEV.TEAM developed shoot’em up title Fast Striker on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on October 16 in North America and October 17 in Europe.
Originally released on Neo Geo and Dreamcast in 2010, yes a Neo Geo and Dreamcast game in 2010, Fast Striker is a side scroller shoot’em up that allows players to shoot their way through waves of over 60 different enemy types. The game features 6 stages, each with a challenging end boss. Additionally, Fast Striker has 4 game modes and plays at a constant 60 fps.
Fast Striker will also have a limited physical run on PS4 and PS Vita available on Play-Asia.com. Pre-opens will open on October 11, worldwide shipping is offered.

Author’s take: Eastasiasoft is keeping the physical releases coming and I’m glad that a small indie team like NG:DEV.TEAM can get their game to a new generation of players. I’ve never played this game, but I am always down to try out a shmup. If I haven’t written this before then here it is, I am a firm supporter in the PS Vita, so any game that releases on the handheld, I’m willing to try.
