Indie developer SyKoHPaTh has released its fantasy RPG Fantasy Waifu Collector on PC via Steam for $19.99, with a 40% introductory discount reducing it to $11.99 during its first week.
Fantasy Waifu Collector follows a protagonist tasked with helping restore a land threatened by spreading monsters. Players recruit characters referred to as Waifus, develop a town, assemble combat teams, and investigate the cause of the ongoing decay.
Character recruitment uses gacha-style systems alongside other in-game methods. Each recruit has RPG progression, skills, combat roles, equipment, and relationships with other characters. Friend and rival relationships can affect combat performance, while acquired equipment is visually represented on characters. Additional outfits can also be earned.
Chibi versions of recruited characters populate the settlement as players add facilities such as a Castle, Barracks, Warehouse, Salon, School, Marketplace, Stadium, Quest Post, and Arena. New buildings provide access to additional activities and systems.
Combat content includes standard monster hunts, Urgent Quests, dungeons, larger bosses, gathering and mining activities, capture missions, and Adoption Quests. A separate mode, Waifu Survivor, uses top-down, bullet hell-inspired wave survival gameplay. Battles can be played at selectable 1x, 2x, or 4x speeds.
Online features include PvE, PvP, and Warbands, the game’s guild system. Offline play is also supported. Other progression systems include daily objectives, a Battle Pass, equipment upgrades through a Blacksmith system, Steam achievements, and an in-game Storybook containing additional lore.
SyKoHPaTh plans to continue supporting Fantasy Waifu Collector after launch with monthly content updates, including seasonal and limited-time activities.

AI has been used to generate SFX files. If you know a real human that is willing to make these, let me know!
