Fantasy RPG ‘Märchen Forest’ Gets PS4, Switch, and PC Global Release Date
Clouded Leopard Entertainment announced that the PrimaryOrbit-developer dungeon crawler RPG, Marchen Forest, will launch on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on January 28, 2021.
Creator Shinano Ishiguro originally envisioned Marchen Forest as a mobile-only title from its conception in 2015. After its release including on PC, the game received numerous updates and feedback from the community to improve it’s gameplay elements and systems. Publisher Clouded Leopard Entertainment teamed up with the developer to revamp Marchen Forest for an updated console and PC experience with many key elements enhanced.
The game will feature voice actress Ayana Taketatsu (Sword Art Online, Date A Live, Zanki Zero) who plays Mylne, and the game’s localization has been handled by the publisher for the Chinese, Korean, and English release. A limited-edition will be packed with a figure of Mylne, with small quantities available for $94.99.
Marchen Forest tells the story of Mylne, an apothecary, who explores the Mysterious FOrest for ingredients to create potions. However, she finds herself entangled in a mystery that leads her to the Underground Ruins where she’ll need to fight some tough foes.
Marchen Forest will launch digitally and physically (Japan and Asia only) for $34.99.
Marchen Forest PCis available now on, but this is not the enhanced version.
