Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir and The Girl Who Stands Behind Gets English Overview Trailer
Nintendo released a new trailer for Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir and Famicom Detective Club: The Girl Who Stands Behind, coming to Nintendo Switch eShop on May 14, 2021.
The trailer highlights English gameplay as a narrator goes over the game’s story and characters. Further, we get the chance to preview the game’s English menus where players will need to interact with characters as they investigate scenes and progress the narrative.
Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir initially released in 1988 from Nintendo on Famicom before it was ported to other consoles but never came west. The game is an adventure title where players will interact with characters to solve a mystery.
Similar to horror films, players will assume the role of an amnesiac protagonist who has just learned that he’s an assistant detective in a case surrounding a murder. Throughout the game, players will crack the case wide open, but not without a few roadblocks.
Famicom Detective Club: The Girl Who Stands Behind features two cases for players to solve and is directly connected to the previous game through a few plot points. Players will be able to interact with other characters through dialog choices that will lead them to a true ending.
