Check out our review of Fallen Legion Revenants’ initial launch.

Fallen Legion Revenants is a sequel to Fallen Legion: Sins of an Empire and Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion. The game is set in a world covered in miasma on a floating castle named Welkin Castle, which is the last refuge for mankind. Safe for now from a plague of horrors that reside below the Castle, a politician named Lucien discovers an ancient book where he learns of the Exemplars, weapons that can turn into sentient soldiers.

Lucien joins up with Rowena, who is a revenant determined to come back to life and save her living son. The two then reluctantly make a pact to overthrow the mad tyrant controlling Welkin.

Gameplay shifts between Lucien and Rowena. Lucien is able to craft potions and items with Alchemic Recipes as well as use stealth tactics to navigate the castle undiscovered. Rowena, on the other hand, tests your reflexes and tactical prowess during real-time battles where you can control a squad of Exemplars. Players will make choices during the dialogue that has a weight on the narrative and sometimes determines who lives or dies.
