Fallen Legion Revenants Gets PS4 and Switch Release Date in New Trailer

NIS America announced that the YummyYummyTummy-developed action RPG, Fallen Legion Revenants, will launch on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on February 16 in North America, February 19 in Europe, and February 27 in Oceania.

To celebrate the announcement, the publisher released a new gameplay trailer that highlights some of the systems. During battles, players can attack and block with timing bonuses that extend combos and add deathblows. Additionally, each character has a unique ability and personality that fuels the adventure.

Fallen Legion Revenants is a sequel to Fallen Legion: Sins of an Empire and Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion. The game is set in a world covered in miasma on a floating castle named Welkin Castle that is the last refuge for mankind. Safe for now from a plague of horrors that reside below the Castle, a politician named Lucien discovers an ancient book where he learns of the Exemplars, weapons that can turn into sentient soldiers.

Lucien joins up with a Rowena, who is a revenant determine to come back to life and save her living son. The two then reluctantly make a pact to overthrow the mad tyrant controlling Welkin.

Gameplay shifts between Lucien and Rowena. Lucien is able to craft potions and items with Alchemic Recipes as well as use stealth tactics to navigate the castle undiscovered. Rowena, on the other hand, tests your reflexes and tactical prowess during real-time battles where you can control a squad of Exemplars. Players will make choices during dialogue the has a weight on the narrative and sometimes determines who lives or dies.
