Falcom Intending on Launching More Games Per Year; Several in Development

The latest business plans for developer Nihon Falcom have surfaced, with some rather intriguing developments to chew on. Thanks to A9VG for sharing this information and Hansuke for translating it.

Firstly, the company’s efforts to develop multi-platform for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch are emphasized, as seen by the recent Ys X Nordics announcement. Further, the localizations, mobile games, and other tangentially related facets have greatly aided financial growth.

However, the most significant news stated here is how Falcom intends to release more games yearly. Particularly, four-to-five games are planned to launch across two-to-four years.

The following graphic was shared, illustrating that two Trails games, an unpublished action RPG, a completely unknown title, and three ported titles are in the works. One of the ported games is likely Ys: The Oath in Felghana Memoire, though that’s simply speculation on my part. Regardless, there are still plenty of unknowns here to ponder over. As of now, these games are all in development, and no release windows have been stated.
