“Falcom Boss Rush Phase 2” Fan Album Now Available; Features 8 Arrangements from Ys, Trails & More

Fan musician group Resonant Union has announced that their next album, Falcom Boss Rush Phase 2, is now available. Following the team’s Falcom Boss Rush Phase 1 album, comprising track arrangments from several Falcom series such as Ys, Trails, and Brandish, this additional phase includes arrangements of songs from Tokyo Xanadu, Dragon Slayer IV, Brandish, and more.

The following songs are present, with artist credits and originating games also featured:

YuzuKiyochii illustrated the album’s cover art, and the album was mastered by YourVinished, with the overall project being managed by Recca. Further, the video editing and thumbnail were crafted by MBMichael, and the booklet is by FireFallsMusic.

Lastly, Resonant Union announced that a finale follow-up album titled “Falcom Boss Rush Phase 3” will release soon.

Resonant Union recently published a fan-led arrangement of several tracks from Falcom’s action JRPG Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure, even featuring the original composer. They also made an Ys 35th anniversary album titled “Days of Adventure.”

Tokyo Xanadu eX+ will launch for Nintendo Switch in Japan on June 29, 2023. There is currently no word on whether a Western release will occur. The Traditional Chinese and Korean release will be on July 13, 2023.
