“Falcom Boss Rush Phase 2” Fan Album Announced for Next Week
Fan musician group Resonant Union has announced that their next album, Falcom Boss Rush Phase 2, will release on June 25, 2023. Following the team’s Falcom Boss Rush Phase 1 album, comprising track arrangments from several Falcom series such as Ys, Trails, and Brandish, this additional phase will include arrangements of songs from Tokyo Xanadu, Dragon Slayer IV, and potentially more.
The album’s art was illustrated by @YuzuKiyochii, with video editing by @MBgov1133 and overall project organization by Recca.
Resonant Union also published a fan-led arrangement of several tracks from Falcom’s action JRPG Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure, even featuring the original composer. They also made an Ys 35th anniversary album titled “Days of Adventure.”
In case you missed it, Falcom announced an official Ys 35th anniversary album, set to release later this year.

Tokyo Xanadu eX+ will launch for Nintendo Switch in Japan on June 29, 2023. There is currently no word on whether a Western release will occur. The Traditional Chinese and Korean release will be on July 13, 2023.
