Action RPG ‘Fairy Tail’ Revealed in Trailer to be Developed by Gust

Koei Tecmo released the debut trailer for the Gust developed action RPG Fairy Tail, coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam in 2020.

Based on the popular manga and anime series, Fairy Tail takes players to a world of demons, dark wizards, dragons, and even some cats. The game will follow the players as the start their journey through the land of Fiore. During gameplay, players will play through the adventure of Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia along with other members of the Fairy Tail mage guild as they set out on their quest.

The game is being developed by Gust, who is known for the Atelier series and Nights of Azure series. Additionally, it is being made under the supervision of author Hiro Mashima, who promises a faithful recreate for Fairt Tail fans.

More news about the game will be released during Tokyo Game Show 2019, but to hold fans off the publisher has released a new trailer showing character designs and a little action. The publisher has previously worked on the Attack on Titan video game series so their work on licensed titles is set at a high standard.
