Fairy Tail Shows Off Early Purchase Costumes in New Gameplay Trailer

Koei Tecmo released a short trailer for the Gust-developed RPG Fairy Tail, coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on July 30 in Europe and July 31 in North America.

The trailer highlights the early purchase costumes that players can receive through various means. The Digital Deluxe version includes a Grand Magic Games team costume set, with pre-order bonus Lacrima set, and a DDX Limited Ryza costume for Lucy. Players who purchase any version of the game around launch will receive a Miss Fairy Tail costume for Erza.

Fairy Tail will focus on Natsu and the Fairy Tail guild as they fight against a variety of enemies on the mission to become the best guild in Fiore. During battles, players can form parties of up to five mages, who can combine their power to unleash unprecedented magical attacks across a three-by-three battlefield grid.

Players will need to consider which magic is best suited for various situations strategically. Furthermore, players can utilize a special Magic Chain attack where each character launches magic followed by a finisher. The game features 16 playable characters who each have unique magical abilities.
