Humble Bundle announced that the Endlessfluff Games-developed tactics RPG Fae Tactics: The Girl Who Destroyed the World, has been delayed from a Spring release to a Fall 2020 release window on PC-via Steam and the Humble Store. The Nintendo Switch version will release at a later date.
The publisher has also released new gameplay to hold players off until the official release date. The trailer gives players a look at the game’s SPRG systems and characters.
Fae Tactics is a strategy RPG where players assume the role of Peony who is tasked with resealing the Elemental Gates that separate the world of magic from the natural world. Following the events of the Elemental Gates opening, the world was flooded with magical creatures known as fae. The lands were torn apart and the devastation claimed the lives of all living creatures. However, the threat is rising and it’s up to Peony to mend the broken world.
During gameplay, players will experience a menuless turn-based battle system. To help players, Peony has the ability to befriend creatures and turn them into allies. Each creature has unique skills and abilities to use in combat and can each be customized. Additionally, Peony has access to a range of spells that she will be able to use against fae creatures in battle.
