During Capcom Showcase 2022, Capcom shared more information about Exoprimal, coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam for a 2023 release. Director Takuro Hiraoka provided a vast sea of news.
The gameplay highlighted how players will approach various gameplay and exploration. Players can customize their exo-suits as they take down waves of enemies brought into the world by Leviathan, an AI behind the spawning dinosaurs. In addition, the Dino Survival multiplayer mode was emphasized where “two squads of five Exofighters race to complete orders assigned by Leviathan.” The missions will change throughout matches, though, and unlock various story sections.
Objectives that comprise Dino Survival are VTOL Defense and Omega Charge. The former has squads defend grounded aircraft from dinosaurs while the latter has Exofighters defeat enemies with massive hammers.
Moreover, the Barrage Assault class Exosuit was highlighted as a bombardier, and the Vigilant Assault Class Exosuit is a sniper wielding a railgun.
This July, a closed network test conducted on PC via Steam will be held before the game’s launch to allow players to test out a mode. You can sign up on the website.
Exoprimal features a campaign where dinosaurs are raining for a strange portal, but humanity has a secret mech weapon to fight back against them. Players can choose a mech equipped with special abilities and skills. The game features hordes of dinosaurs that players will have to stop the rush of dino enemies using strategic abilities and teamwork.
