Exoprimal Achieves 1 Million Players; Team Working Hard on Improvements Based on Player Feedback
Capcom has announced that its multiplayer title, Exoprimal, has achieved over one million players since its launch earlier this month, on July 14, 2023. It’s worth emphasizing that this milestone is not referring to units sold, as Game Pass undeniably played a huge part in this amount.
The team also announced that “a free Skywave skin will be included in the August 16 title update” to celebrate this feat. Further, they are “hard at work on improvements to the game based on player feedback.”
In case you missed it, check out the game’s final pre-launch showcase, which detailed post-launch content.
Regarding post-launch content, on July 28, 2023, Season 1 will feature the Savage Gauntlet mode that “challenges teams of five players with late-game PvE missions that rotate weekly and can be replayed for higher rankings and rewards.”
August 17, 2023, will feature the game’s first major update, introducing 10 Alpha variant Exosuits comprising different weapons for these alternate designs to switch up one’s playstyle.
Season 2 in October 2023 will feature the previously announced Street Fighter 6 collaboration as well as a “new map and Final Mission, plus more rigs and modules.” Then Season 3 in January 2024 will have new Beta variant Exosuits, the Neo Triceratops, and a Monster Hunter collaboration.
Exoprimal is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
