Adventure Visual Novel ‘Exogenesis ~Perils of Rebirth~’ Enters Steam Early Access Tomorrow
Sekai Project announced that the Kwan developed adventure visual novel Exogenesis ~Perils of Rebirth~ will launch on Steam Early Access April 19.
The reason behind the developer using the Steam Early Access platform is because they are moving the game from beta to final build and would like the visual novel community on Steam “to provide feedback on elements of the story and game mechanics. We also want to show development is moving forward after having the game in development for 4+ years.”
Exogenesis ~Perils of Rebirth~ will be using the Early Access for 6 to 8 months and the developer has plans to add more voice acting, extra scenes, and enhanced subplots over that time. This version of the game is meant to be an extensive preview of the final build and will increase in price when the game officially launches. The team is looking for feedback from Steam users to help polish and shape the official release.
Exogenesis ~Perils of Rebirth~ is set in 2069 around a group of treasure hunters known as Durchhalten, protagonist Yudai Sayashi is faced with reality when his sister Miho triggers a trap that kills her. Following those events, Yu has discovered Noah’s Ark in a search to revive his sister. However, he’ll need the help of the now defunct Durchhalten group in order to succeed in his mission.
Exogenesis ~Perils of Rebirth~ features hours of gameplay with multiple environments to explore. Players will make moral choices that affect the outcome of the story. The game also has multiple ending and branching story paths as the player makes their way through puzzles and masters that character interrogation feature.
