Wizards of the Coast and Archetype Entertainment unveiled new clips for their upcoming sci-fi RPG, EXODUS, which is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The new footage highlights an early-game combat encounter outside Lyonesse with Jun, Tom, and Elise, while another clip showcases traversal on a Lyonesse space tower with the railclaw. Lastly, exploration inside an ancient Celestial shrine on Khonsu is shown.
More clips will be shown in the coming months, with an extended gameplay look planned for early Summer.
EXODUS is set 40,000 years in the future, where humanity, facing the demise of Earth, ventures into space on ark ships to find a new home in the Centauri galaxy. However, they face the possibility of extinction. Their last hope rests on the Travelers, descendants of the early space colonists, who are tasked with exploring and securing a future.
Jun comes from a renowned Traveler dynasty. He houses a rare genetic inheritance that grants him abilities, setting him apart from ordinary humans. Challenges can be approached through stealth or open combat, with each style equally viable.
