We Don’t Know What We Just Saw in This ‘EVOLUTIS’ Teaser Trailer, but We Are Totally on Board

PM Studio revealed that they are publishing they will be publishing the Poke Life Studio-developed 2D action game EVOLUTIS, in development on all major platforms for a 2020 release.

To celebrate the announcement, the publisher has posted a teaser trailer, which is an absolute treat your our eyes. Through its gritty anime aesthetic, EVOLUTIS aims to be a playable anime fighter. However, the studio doesn’t stop there. They’ve also described the game as a “cutting edge 2D story-driven action game.”

EVOLUTIS is sent in Neo Hong Kong, with the environment carrying massive inspiration from 80’s anime-realism seen in Blade Runner, Ghost In The Shell, and Akira. During the game, players will assume the role of three main protagonists. As the narrative progresses, the player will witness their fates and how they all seem to be intertwined.

The game is being developed in Unity by the has been in development for some time. The game allows players to roam the streets and participate in hand-to-hand combat, which has a real anime appeal.
