Puzzle Adventure ‘Ever Forward’ Gets PC Release Date in New Trailer

Pathea Games announced that their puzzle adventure game, Ever Forward, will launch on PC-via Steam on August 13, a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch release is planned for winter 2020.

To celebrate that release date announcement, the team has launched a new trailer that shows 9 minutes of gameplay. Here, players can check out the actions that they can take when trying to work out these challenging puzzles and progress the game’s narrative.

Ever Forward tells the story of a girl named Maya who is caught between realities. While she explores a coastal field, she is suddenly transported to a geometric dream world full of traps and puzzles. The player will guide her through these obstacles as they unlock memories of Maya’s past and learn how she got in this situation.

Ever Forward features various puzzle mechanics that allow Maya to pick up objects, fly, and interact with the world in order to solve the game. There’s a quick save option that also allows players to inch their way to success during some of the more demanding puzzles.
