Pixelity Inc. will host a hands-on preview for its upcoming immersive action-adventure game EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS on September 25, 2026, near Union Square in San Francisco. Around 80 participants will be selected through a lottery to attend this free event.
Attendees will be able to play a development build of EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS, including its Story Mode and Battle Mode.
The event will also feature separate AR and VR experiences. The AR portion places an unannounced major Evangelion character beside participants and lets them capture the scene as a photo.
For the VR experience, participants will wear a head-mounted display and physically walk through virtual recreations of locations from the game, including NERV Headquarters.
EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS takes place across Tokyo-3 and NERV Headquarters. Players assume the role of a NERV officer cadet who interacts with established Evangelion characters alongside characters created for the game.
Pixelity currently plans to release EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS across multiple VR devices in 2027. Specific supported headsets and a release date have not been announced.
Applications for the San Francisco preview will be accepted from September 1 through September 8 at 11:59 PM PT. Applicants must be at least 18 years old as of September 25. If applications exceed the approximately 80 available spots, attendees will be chosen by lottery and contacted by email by September 22. The exact venue and event times will only be provided to selected participants.
