Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection Releasing for Switch & PC June 2023; First 3 Games, New Art, Difficulties & More

During the February 2023 Nintendo Direct, Atlus announced that Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection will launch for Nintendo Switch on June 1, 2023. Additionally, Capcom confirmed that a PC launch via Steam will also arrive. The publisher shared the price as $79.99 for Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection and $39.99 for each individual game.

These first three remastered entries will feature 24 newly drawn character illustrations, new difficulty options, and an auto-mapping function for smoother exploration. Each game will be available as a bundle or individually. Pre-orders will begin later today.

The publisher has confirmed DLC Sets available will be:

  • Character Portrait DLC Set 1 includes Joker (Persona 5 Royal) and Ringo (Soul Hackers 2)
  • Character Portrait DLC Set 2 includes Demi-Fiend (Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne) and Teddie (Persona 4 Golden)
  • Character Portrait DLC Set 3 includes Aigis (Persona 3 Portable) and Nahobino (Shin Megami Tensei V)

This critically acclaimed dungeon crawler series has been long dormant, with the last new entry being Etrian Odyessy Nexus. The immense replayablity, character individuality, and cathartic sense of progression were beloved across its various entries. It’s truly thrilling to see these games return, and we can’t wait to learn more about them as new information arises.
