Episodic Musical Narrative ‘We are OFK’ Receives Summer 2022 Switch Release Date

During today’s Nintendo Indie World showcase, the musical narrative, We Are OFK received a new trailer. This game was initially announced in June 2021.

We Are OFK looks into the life of Itsumi Saito and her friends, hoping to make it big in music. The game follows their intertwining stories as they struggle to make ends meet as they have to go through the trials and tribulations of living in a big city.

Itsumi begins life anew in Downtown Los Angeles after breaking up with her long-term girlfriend. Hoping to make waves and become a new sensation in the cutthroat music industry, she and her friends meet a producer at a Hollywood party, and they become the catalyst for their musical journey.

We Are OFK dives deep into the struggles and conflicts of each of the friends, whether it be their dating life, arguing over lyrics, paying rent, or juggling time for music practice. The gameplay is shown to be a narrative, featuring 5 episodes of an interactive animated series and 5 interactive music videos. New episodes are released weekly. The interactive dialogue in the series and videos are all fully voiced.

We Are OFK is releasing for Nintendo Switch this Summer.
