Spike Chunsoft released the debut teaser trailer of the Tookyo Games-developed fantasy adventure Enigma Archives: Rain Code.
The publisher has confirmed that the game will come west, but the release platforms and release date have not been provided. What we do know from the gameplay details is that the concept of the game is described as a “dark fantasy mystery.” Though we still don’t know what that entails, it’s very likely that investigating murders will be a part of its story. A few screenshots have been shared by the publisher showing that the gameplay will feature 3D characters and areas to explore.
The game will be developed and marketed by Spike Chunsoft and will feature a scenario by Kazutaka Kodaka, music by Masafumi Takada, and design by Rui Komatsuzaki.
Though Enigma Archives: Rain Code was announced today, this is not the first time we hear of it. It was previously teased by Too Kyo Games when the company was formed by former Spike Chunsoft members including Kazutaka Kodaka and Kotaro Uchikoshi as “Project #4m.”
We will continue to share information about Enigma Archives: Rain Code as more is shared.
For now, check out the new gameplay trailer below to see more about the characters and world:
