Publisher Shiravune has announced that CUBE-developed visual novel End of Summer is coming to PC via Steam. A release date has not been announced.
The story follows Yuji, a young man living alone in a remote village after a global pandemic wipes out the surrounding population. Before the outbreak, Yuji had moved to the countryside after leaving his job and began supporting himself by posting videos about rural life.
His isolated routine changes when he encounters Mio, a young woman who has also lost the people around her. After setting out on her own, she eventually reaches Yuji’s village, where the two begin living together and gradually grow closer.
End of Summer features a choice-driven story with multiple endings, along with Japanese voice acting. Mio is voiced by Rina Misaki, and the game will support English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese text.
An 18+ version is also available through Johren, while Shiravune says additional platforms will be announced at a later date.
