EastAsiaSoft announced they will publish the Softstar-developed tactical RPG, Empire of Angels IV, in the west on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in Summer 2021 in the west.

The publisher also announced that they will have a physical release for the Switch version with pre-orders available later this week on April 22 through PlayAsia. The physical release will include:

  • Manual
  • Soundtrack
  • numbered certificate
  • collecter’s box

Only 2000 units will be made for the limited edition above, but standard versions will also be available.

Empire of Angels IV initially launched on PC-via Steam in 2016 but holds a Mixed review standing amongst players. The game is set in the Land of Asgard where Niya, the captain of the Valkyrie Kingdom, fights to save the world. The series has been around since 1993, from the same developer as Xuan-Yuan Sword. However, this game is meant to be more about cute maidens and comedic storytelling with SRPG elements.

The console release will feature an update English localization. Further, it will feature Chinese audio for the characters of the all-female cast.
