Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Introduces 4 New Characters

In the latest Kickstarter backer update for the highly anticipated turn-based JRPG, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, the team introduced four new characters for the upcoming adventure, including their renders, profiles, and voice actors.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is meant to be a love letter to the classic Japanese RPG genre featuring exploration and battles in high-resolution 2.5D graphics using pixel-based characters, similar to what we saw in Octopath Traveler. The story will revolve around war and friendship and introduce a diverse cast of 100 unique heroes to join the quest, which is very Suikoden.

eiyuden 2 — Melridge voiced by Yohei Azakami – A young scholar who specializes in natural history. He yearns to know of every last thing in the world, and exactly how it got there. He also happens to be a genius tactician, and will be a valuable asset to the protagonist.

eiyuden 3 — Perrielle Grum voiced by Maaya Uchida – The young countess of Grum, a small country in the League of Nations. She’s sharp as a tack, a go-getter, and full of fire. Where others mince words, Perrielle sharpens them for the kill—and people deride her for that lack of demureness. “She’d be a lovely girl,” they say, “if she wasn’t always braying.”

eiyuden 4 — Chapell Winlart voiced by Kiyosato Takaya – A young Galdean general who serves under Dux Aldric.

eiyuden 1 — Dux Aldric voiced by Jouji Nakata – An ambitious political and military mastermind who commands a powerful faction of the Galdean Empire that is second only to the imperial family’s. He seeks to unlock the true essence of the rune-lenses and create technology that can be used equally by all.

For those who missed the news, the development team announced that the game has been delayed to Quarter 2 of 2024.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is releasing for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in Quarter 2 of 2024.
