505 Games and Rabbit & Bear Studios have unveiled a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming turn-based RPG Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, focusing on the vast cast within the world of Allraan.
The trailer also showcases and teases various narrative developments while highlighting the gorgeous environments you can anticipate exploring. Allraan is a continent comprised of numerous nations with mystical rune lenses abound. The empire desperately seeks to gather as many lenses as possible, but amid this effort, the home of protagonist Nowa is set ablaze.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is meant to be a love letter to the classic Japanese RPG genre featuring exploration and battles in high-resolution 2.5D graphics using pixel-based characters, similar to what we saw in Octopath Traveler. The story will revolve around war and friendship and introduce a diverse cast of 100 unique heroes to join the quest, which is very Suikoden.
In combat, characters with strong ties can perform Hero Combos. Plus, terrain plays a pivotal role throughout encounters, with strategy at the forefront of the experience.
