In the latest Kickstarter backer update for the highly anticipated turn-based JRPG, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, the team announced that the game has been delayed to Quarter 2 of 2024.
The reason for this delay is quoted below:
“In order to deliver a game that so many fans have supported, we announce a revised release date of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, with the game now due during Calendar Year Q2 of 2024. The decision was made in order to ensure the best possible story, and to reward the legion of backers with the best game experience possible.
Please stay tuned for more updates, and thank you again for your continued support.
They also hope to share additional information at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.
We’ll continue to keep you all updated on the development and eventual release of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is meant to be a love letter to the classic Japanese RPG genre featuring exploration and battles in high-resolution 2.5D graphics using pixel-based characters, similar to what we saw in Octopath Traveler. The story will revolve around war and friendship and introduce a diverse cast of 100 unique heroes to join the quest, which is very Suikoden.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is releasing for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
