Eidos Montreal Senior Creative Director Shares Heartwarming Message on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy’s Launch

Following the launch of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Eidos Montreal Senior Creative Director Jean-François Dugas shared a message to fans on Square Enix’s blog. While brief, Dugas provides an uplifting message about how the Guardians are not so different from us despite their fantastical backgrounds and otherworldly appearances. Further, he emphasizes how joyous the creative process was, and he sincerely hopes that players have an enjoyable time with this title.

In the story, the group has been together for less than a year, and they must face off against a massive threat to the galaxy. Non-popular enemies are promised to make appearances, so players have hopefully inventive battles to look forward to.

Moreover, players can choose dialogue options that get a reaction from the others. Environments will feature enemy waves where players can utilize character skills, including Starlord’s jet boots. Gameplay has players take a strategic approach to gunplay where players can switch skills on the fly to take down enemies.
