Echoes of Mana Announced for Worldwide Mobile Release; Check Out the First Trailer
Square Enix has announced Echoes of Mana, a mobile action RPG celebrating the history of the Mana franchise. Developed by the Wright Flier Studios, (Another Eden), it’ll be available worldwide for iOS and Android in 2022. The game will be free to play, but more details about what sort of microtransactions it’ll have aren’t known yet.
The concept of the game includes reliving scenes from multiple Mana titles. An announcement trailer was released by Square Enix introducing the game. This video includes cutscenes from the remakes Adventures of Mana, Secret of Mana, and Trials of Mana, as well as the PS2 game Dawn of Mana.
By experiencing those memories, players are tasked with finding a legendary sword long lost and returning the world to order. Though this announcement trailer had no gameplay, the series’ 30th-anniversary live stream showed a fraction of it.
