Bandai Namco and Game Studio have unveiled the second story trailer for the upcoming action RPG Echoes of Aincrad, with the theme song, “Live to Survive” by Aimer. A demo will be released on June 15.

Echoes of Aincrad places you in the familiar setting of Aincrad while letting you experience the story through a custom avatar. You create and customize your own character, choose equipment, and develop combat abilities as you climb through the castle’s floors.

The game focuses on real-time action combat and character progression, while encouraging players to form partnerships with other adventurers encountered throughout the story.

Unanswered//butterfly will be a 110-minute promotional anime video packaged with the game’s $109.99 USD Ultimate Edition. Fans can anticipate a story separate from the main game, and a preview video has been posted on YouTube.

Another major feature confirmed is Death Game Mode. Unlocked by clearing the main story or purchasing at least the $89.99 Deluxe Edition for an early unlock, dying in this mode leads to deletion.

Echoes of Aincrad will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on July 10, 2026.
