Riverbond Developer Reveals Turn-based Adventure ‘Echo Generation’ For Xbox One, Series X, and PC

Cococuucumber revealed their newest game today titled Echo Generation, in development for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC-via Steam for a 2021 release.

The developers of the multiplayer adventure, Riverbond, seem to be expanding their portfolio by taking on a new genre. Echo Generation is a turn-based adventure where a gang of kids investigates supernatural occurrences to save their town.

Echo Generation takes place in the summer of ’93 in Canada, oh I’m sure it was wild. One night, an unknown object crashes in a cornfield and none of the adults in the town seem to care. So, it’s up to a gang of kids to investigate the supernatural event and save the day.

During gameplay, players will fight against creatures and spend their summer putting their lives in danger. The game will feature 4K resolutions and 60 fps gameplay for the Xbox Series X.

The developer also released a first look trailer revealing how players will explore the world. Additionally, players get a look at the characters and the battle system, which mimics classic RPG systems. The characters have been designed in a 3D pixel style, which actually looks great within the world.
