Early Dr. Stone Chapters Made Free for a Week in Preparation for Standalone Side Story ‘Dr. Stone Reboot: Byakuya’

VIZ Media announced that fans can read Dr. Stone Chatpers 1 through 7 and 60 – 70 for free for the next week.

The publisher encourages fans to read the manga from where it all began and released the later chapters for those who are currently watching the anime.

Further, the free chapters will hype fans preparing for the standalone side story Dr. Stone Reboot: Byakuya, releasing on March 2. This story focuses on Senku and his friends as they are being turned to stone and his father, Byakuya, is on the Internation Space Station. This is the story of the crew as they attempt to survive as the only humans left who remain flesh and blood.

Dr. Stone takes place in a world that has been petrified. However, Senku is revived, which he discovers was the cause of nitric acid. This leads him to restore his friends, who then attempt to decide what the new world should be, which leads to disagreements in the group. The more extraordinary elements of the story include some pretty intense battles and the use of science.

The manga is currently up to Chapter 184, but it’s a good read for Shonen narratives fans with a unique plot and memorable characters.
