Eagle Island: Twist Revealed in Trailer as Free Update Adding New Modes and Challenges

Screenwave Media announced that the Pixelnicks-developed 2D adventure platformer Eagle Island will launch on free update titled, Eagle Island: Twist, soon.

Eagle Island: Twist adds new customization options to the game along with new abilities, bosses, and forty-five levels that incorporate new characters, Fia and Kusako.

Owners of the base game will receive this update when it releases and it will come packed with the base version so anyone else who buys the game will have both.

Eagle Island launched in 2019 on PC and Switch. Players explore the world as Quill and his owl companion, Koji. Level designs take players through lost civilizations as they fight to confront the Guardian Eagle, Armaura, to rescue Ichrio.

Throughout the game, players will gain access upgrades and additional challenge maps that test their platforming skills. The game also features a weekly speedrun map that changes every week. Customization in the game features 85 different perk abilities to apply to Quill during each run. There are 16 environments to explore in the base game and 12 bosses to fight against amongst other enemies.
