E3 2022 Digital Event Canceled
A recent tweet from Will Powers on Twitter has revealed that E3’s digital event for 2022 has been canceled. Alongside this digital cancellation, no physical show is planned either, so E3 as a whole is likely canned for the year. As a result, fans should expect more centralized showcases from publishers and developers throughout the Summer, which might be for the best, depending on your perspective. Still, I can’t deny that the general hype of the E3 atmosphere was infectious, so seeing it go away entirely is somewhat somber.
Just got an email… It's official, E3 digital is official cancelled for 2022. Lots of mixed feelings about this…

Soon after that tweet, though, Geoff Keighley posted a vague winking emote on Twitter, likely signaling potential plans he has in the pipeline. Regardless, we’ll just have to wait and see what developments occur in the near future.
