VR Visual Novel ‘DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate’ Teased in Trailer and Mysterious Website
MyDearest launched a teaser trailer and website for an upcoming project titled DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate.
The game will be based on the “Chronos Universe” that the studio created, but it will not be a sequel to their other titles, Tokyo Chronos and Altdeus: Beyond Chronos. This new project does mention that it will be in VR, but when the platforms were going to be shown in the trailer, they are blurred out. This could mean that the series is coming to non-VR devices for the first time, but it has typically been a VR exclusive project.
The teaser trailer opens with a unique, iconic motif, followed by the shadowy figure of a person appearing to leave through a door. We then see a mysterious character extend his hand with a flourish toward the viewer. Next, his hand glows as a digital effect emanates from the watch-like device on his wrist. Finally, the trailer reveals that the game is coming in early 2022.
The teaser website contains a text entry field for a phrase saying “Enter the Keyword.” Supposedly, there’s more to this mystery that players will have to look into.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the development of DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate.
