DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate Shows Off Immersive Gameplay in New Trailer

MyDearest released new gameplay for DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate, a new title in the Chrones series in development for Meta Quest 2 and Nintendo Switch.

The gameplay highlights the Meta Quest 2 version of the game as we get to see how players can interact with the world. This title seems to feature more interaction than other entries in the series that played out similarly to VR visual novels.

In DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate, players assume the role of Hal, a Special Supervisor in Astrum Close City. A futuristic marine location, Astrum Close City is a place where crime has been eradicated. When the founder of the city is suddenly murdered, Hal must step in and bring the suspect to justice.

To help, Hall can access the memories of objects through a process known as Memory Dive. This is where he will piece together evidence that will push the narrative forward. Everything can be a clue in this adventure. The game also features free movement as players can move around the environment during investigations.

Following the release of the Meta Quest 2 version of the game will be released on Switch, with additional episodes to follow.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the development of DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate.
