Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires Demo Now Available On PSN, Switch & Xbox; Officer Data Transferable To Full Release

Koei Tecmo has announced that the demo for the upcoming Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires is currently available to download on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Officer data can be saved and transferred to the game’s full release. Additionally, the demo includes castle sieges with both invasion and defense battles modes so players can compare them to previous experiences with the series.

More intricate information and tips on getting the most out of this demo are available on PlayStation Blog.

Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires allows players to experience the legendary events of the Three Kingdoms. With your own character, you’re able to create a vagrant force and unify Ancient China. Conquering the whole map also involves the Politics System, so players have to be wise on recruiting officers and procuring resources rather than only battling mindlessly.

There are also the castle siege segments in which players have to strategically plan how to take down enemies’ forces. But overall, the most significant new features compared to the original release are the new strategic layers to the character creation mode, as Dynasty Warriors 9 only featured historic officers.

Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires is releasing for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S and Google Stadia on February 15, 2022.
